Has anyone managed to get a mortgage on a prefab?
I was wondering if anyone has been succesful in getting a mortgage on a prefab home. I have a cornish type house and would love to be able to find a copany that would lend on a non traditional home.
They are called ‘Non standard construction’ You need to contact a mortgage broker who will shop around for you. I think you will find that the payments will be higher than for standard homes, but it can be done.
